As mentioned before, our teaser trailer, movie poster, and movie magazine are all completed to our best ability.
Seeing as we had a Media lesson today, one of our Media teachers was able to look at our movie posters, our movie magazine. Overall, he seemed very pleased with our work, and suggested some ideas, regarding our evaluation questions. He suggested that our answers should be more visual, in comparison to just writing all the time. After hearing advice from Karlos, the group and I took it upon ourselves to hold a 'screening' in a one of the spare Media rooms.
The group and I noticed that one of the reigning themes in our teaser trailer, movie posters and magazine was 'Femininity' and that the male gender was not really highlighted throughout. To correct this, we gathered three males, who were not members of our Media class, and got them to watch our teaser trailer. The point of the screening was to record on tape the genuine reactions of the three males and allow them the opportunity to say what they thought about the trailer overall.
On the whole, the feedback was very positive, and all of the three males appeared to enjoy the trailer - much to the relief of myself and the rest of the group !
We are now in the process of editing our 'screening' video. We intend to post it on to Blogger by the end of this week.
Additionally, we are currently finishing Evaluation Question One, and planning our responses to Evaluation Question Two. - All our Evaluations will be submitted before the deadline.
The group and I are looking forward to seeing our overall grade, and seeing all our hard work pay off.
