As a new production company, we were considering the various possiblities, when our trailer and movie has been watched in the cinema and it is no- longer being shown in Cinema's across England and Wales. To increase and awareness and opputunity we thought it would be an amazing idea if we furthered our advertising. We inturn thought about this long and hard and we have decided that we could possibly have our film broadcasted on Channel 4.
The reason being is as stated by Channel 4 officials, Channel 4 is a British public- service television broadcaster was established in early November 1982, so the British public is familiar with this channel. Channel 4 is now owned by the Channel Four Televison Coroporation a public body established in 1990. With the conversion of the Wenvoe transmitter in Wales to digital. Channel 4 enjoys almost universal coverage in the United Kingdom and some neighbouring countries and a significant audience share, despite having seen new competition with the growth of cable, satellite and digital services.
Channel 4 has sister channels such as E4, 4oD because these channels work with one another this would be a plus, because it broadens the base in which our film can be projected and realised on a broader scale as oppose to working with Tv Channels such as Channel Five, which has not got high reputation in comparison to Channel 4.
Additionally we have decided to put our movie on Blu-ray disks and DVD this again will boost our profitability as a new production company as those who did not get the chance to watch our movie in the cinema will get the chance to purchase their very own copy on DVD or Blu-ray disks.
